Pets Want to Help, Too!
Pets 2 the Rescue is a national virtual run/walk/bike event to help care for homeless dogs & cats and the organizations that care for them and find them homes. Shelters/agencies were selected in each state with priority given to no-kill organizations.
Our selected organizations provide shelter, love and care, reunite lost pets with their owners and find new forever homes for homeless pets, and provide access to spay & neuter services.
HOW IT WORKS:Choose the shelter you will walk/run/bike for. Participating Shelters are listed by region: Southeast, Northeast, Mid-West, Southwest, and Pacific.
Register HERE for the distance you want to walk/run/bike. Choose from:
- 1 Mile Walk/Run
- 5K Walk/Run
- 5 Mile Bike
- NEW Rescue Challenge - How many total miles can you run/walk during the month of June?
Participating in Pets 2 the Rescue is easy:
- Run/Walk/Bike the distance you registered for. Use the free ItsYourRace mobile app to automatically record and time your run/walk or just make a note of your time.
- Report your time. The ItsYourRace mobile app will do this automatically OR you may enter your time manually by clicking the "Update Time" button next to your name in the race results for your regional event.
- Rescue Challenge participants may walk/run as many times as you want during the month of June. Use the ItsYourRace mobile app to record your runs and accumulate your distance.
Your Pets 2 the Rescue shirt will be mailed to your registration address.
